TRAIN WITH FRIENDS
Would you like to lose weight, get stronger, build muscle, tone up, get fit, feel better or a combination of all of the above? Do you need a workout partner to help push yourself? Can you commit 2 or 3 hours a week, for a month? Train with Friends can help you get closer to your goals while having a good time. Train with Friends is a strength training program for everyone. From beginners who have never touched a weight to experienced lifters, this program is for you. You will workout with a partner, so invite a friend, or we can partner you up. The workout will be planned out for you and will be guided by an instructor. You will be instructed on a variety of full body exercises with safety and proper form at the forefront of the workout. The workout will take 1 hour from warmup to cool down. Classes will be limited to 6 participants and structured to move from one exercise to the next without having to wait for a certain machine or piece of equipment. You will use free weights, body weight and machines. Every exercise can be modified for every skill level.
Train with Friends will be offered in a 2-day format (Tuesday and Thursday) or 3-day format (Monday-Wednesday-Friday). This is a trial phase and we will be open to more classes and times if the program is successful. Feel free to call the Colorado City Parks and Recreation office with any questions. 719-676-3059. Trial Session-4-week program
Dates - October 27 to November 21
2 Day – Tuesday and Thursday Fee: $50 per person
6:30 am to 7:30 am (Limited to 6 participants)
or
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Limited to 6 participants)
3 Day – Monday-Wednesday-Friday Fee: $75 per person
6:30 am to 7:30 am (Limited to 6 participants)
or
5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Limited to 6 participants)
